The Fundraising Chair is responsible for overseeing the widespread distribution of our fundraising campaigns. This role involves promoting campaigns within your personal and professional networks, as well as contributing to the development and execution of strategies to ensure broad, region-wide engagement across the South Island.

The primary responsibility of this role is to support Goldstream Medical Clinic and Colwood Family Practice in managing the increased workload resulting from new physicians accepting patients. Key duties include utilizing the Oscar EMR platform to schedule new patient intakes, assisting with record requests, and ensuring the accurate uploading of new patient charts into our system.

This is a paid supervisor role with the South Island Primary Care Society involving supporting newly recruited UK-trained General Practitioners (GPs) at Goldstream Medical Clinic. The role requires 10-15 hours of engagement over six months, including conversations with the doctor, reviewing a few patient charts, and conducting a couple of supervised visits. This supervision is a college requirement for doctors new to the country.
