The Metchosin Clinics mandate is to provide urgent and episodic care to Metchosin and surrounding areas.
Communities: Our services focus on helping community members with acute, urgent and episodic illnesses. We routinely assess and manage conditions such as urinary tract infections; cold and flu symptoms; lacerations and burns; wound care and dressing changes; acute or sudden abdominal pain or discomfort; nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and constipation; new visual disturbances or foreign bodies in the eye; fever and lethargy; asthma exacerbations; ear and eye infections; acute mental health concerns; minor allergic reactions; fractures, sprains and strains; sudden-onset rashes and hives; STI screening, diagnosis and treatment; acute gynecological concerns; pregnancy testing and counselling on options; birth control counselling; headaches and migraines; ear syringing; suture and staple removal; and liquid nitrogen treatment for non-cosmetic purposes only. Generally, the concerns we manage have an onset of symptoms within the past two weeks.

Tenant improvements to convert a classroom into a fully functional medical clinic
Essential medical equipment to safely and effectively deliver care
The one-time startup costs required to open the doors
Once open, the clinic will be sustained through operations, not ongoing donations—your support creates a lasting community asset.
